I always love a good beauty product review, so I decided to do one myself. The brand I chose to review is Essence Cosmetics. The reason why I chose this brand is not only because it's super affordable (student life right?), but the brand is also against animal testing and you get it at selected Clicks and Dis-Chem stores. So without further ado, let's start.

1) Fresh & Fit Awake Primer

For starters, I love the blush colour packaging. Don't you just love it when the packaging looks pretty? The primer definitely does what is says, visible pores disappear and it really does give a illuminating glow. You can actually see the glow residue on your fingers once you've finished applying it on your face. Also, this product was only R79.95 at Clicks!

2) Camouflage Concealer

I've got to admit, I've actually been using this concealer for months now and it is absolutely amazing! It conceals unwanted blemishes and it brightens up my under eye area (sorry, don't know what it's called) instantly. This is one of my favourite concealers ever and it doesn't give a blotchy effect. I use it in the shade Ivory 05 and it was only R54.95 at Clicks.

3) Fresh & Fit Awake Make Up

What I especially love the Fresh & Fit range is that it smells really nice. It might just be me, but I would probably just buy a product because of its smell. It gives a medium coverage that literally lasts all day and it feels very light on my skin. The only thing is that it doesn't really have a large variety of shades. I got this product in the shade Fresh Ivory 10 at Clicks for R109.95.

4) Eyebrow Designer Pencil

So, I don't do much to my brows, because I kinda like the shape of it already and I love a good natural look. This product is just exactly what I need for my brows. I use the pencil to shape my brows a bit and then brush my brows with the little brush that comes with it. Everything I need is in one product. I use it in the shade 02 Brown and it was only R29.95 at Clicks!

5) Waterproof Eyeliner Pen

Along with the Camouflage Concealer, I've been using this liquid eyeliner for quite a while and it is literally the best thing for a perfect wing. It's so precise and it dries up really quickly so it doesn't smudge. I got this at Clicks for R59.95.

6) In Love with Rose Eyeshadow

First of all, HOW CUTE IS THIS PACKAGING??!! I also like that this palette has a range of neutral colours and darker shades for a more extravagant look. I got this palette at Dis-Chem for R82.95.

7) Volume Stylist Curl & hold mascara

Again, I LOVE this pinky colour. This mascara really makes my lashes pop, but it does clot a bit. I got this mascara at Clicks for R64.95.

8) Luminous Matt Bronzing Powder

I really like this bronzer. It gives my face a sun kissed feel and it doesn't blotch up when I blend it. I got the lighter shade and I bought it at Dis-Chem for R35.00!! (super cheap)

9) Glow to Go Highlighter Palette

This highlighter palette is so pretty and the pigmentation is stunning! Literally one swipe and it gives you that "GLOW". I bought this palette at Dis-Chem for R92.95.

10) Mattifying Compact Powder

So, I don't really use compact powder, but for those who do, I would recommend this. It doesn't make your face look cakey and it definitely mattifies your face. I bought this product at Clicks for R59.95 in the shade 02 Soft Beige.

11) Matt Matt Matt Lipsticks

So, first of all...IT SMELLS SO GOOD!! My favourite colour is 02 because it is very similar to my lip colour. The colour stays on your lips for a while and it doesn't dry out my lips. I got these lipsticks at Dis-Chem for R46.95 each.

12) Instant Matt Setting Spray

I really love this setting spray, because it doesn't feel sticky and it's really lightweight. It also sets my make-up so that it lasts for the rest of the day. I bought this product at Clicks for R64.95.

My favourite of these Essence products are the eyeliner, the concealer and the bronzer.
