July Current Obsessions

Warning: I'm about to rave about a few random things that I can't get enough of this month. From beauty products to TV shows, here are my Top 5 current obsessions for July 2018.

1) Tea Tree Foaming Cleanser from The Body Shop

The winter made my skin look and feel awful and then skincare products I was using before started to dry out my skin, so I decided to start a new skincare range. Coincidentally when I was looking for a new brand I walked past The Body Shop and well one thing led to another, I bought their Tea Tree range. First of all, The Body Shop products are 100% vegetarian and cruelty free. I love their foam cleanser in particular. It feels so soft on my skin, it literally cleared my skin in a week and it was only R100!

2) Fragranced Jar Candle from @Home

I love all things that smell nice and scented candles are my favourite. I actually got this candle as a gift a while ago, so I have no idea how much it costs, but I love the pretty packaging and the smell spreads across the whole room (which I love!)

3) The Book Galations from the Bible

I have been reading and working through the book Galations this week and there are so many lessons I learn't so far. Paul, being the writer in this book, explains that there is one true Gospel and warns that if others preach another Gospel, it's false (refer to Galations 1:9). Paul also taught me that God changes you for the good as soon as you invite Him in your heart and grow your faith in Him. Before Paul was called by God, he wanted to destroy the church, but as God started working with him, he empowered God and shared His Gospel. This taught me that no matter what your circumstances you live in or how terrible of a person you think you are, God loves you so much that He just wants to hold you and guide you to the right path. Is that not the best Father anyone could ever have?

4) Mac Viva Glam II

This is my absolute favourite lipstick!! I love a good natural look and this shade is very similar to my natural lip colour. My make up will not be complete without this lipstick.

I got this Lipstick from the Mac section in Edgars for R250.00.

5) Brooklyn Nine-Nine

I have actually never watched this show ever, but I was browsing through Netflix to find a new series to watch and I am so glad I started watching this. It's exactly the genre which I enjoy, this comedy crime series is so funny and I have been binge watching this show the entire week.
